The A.N.E.S. is a grassroots company with about 1300 shareholders that the overwhelming majority are residents of Symi and Rhodes.
Founded in 1979 in order to remove the island from their isolation and boost freight, passenger and tourist traffic, allowing Symiot remain on the island and not be summer visitors.
